The Poliex Education Centre has been licensed since 2015 as an adult education provider.

Cooperation with MAT Kosovo / Praedium Consulting Malta – EOD and IEDD training in accordance with IMAS standards.

About the Poliex Training Centre

The Poliex Education Centre was established in 2015 and licensed by the Ministry of Education of Montenegro. The Centre obtained its operating permit and licence by Decision of the Ministry of Education, UPI No. 620-113/2015, dated 30 July 2015.
The training programmes are intended for professionals, government institutions and organisations working with explosive materials and safety procedures.
The Training Centre conducts courses and training programmes for the needs of Poliex or under contract with public institutions, including the Employment Agency and the Directorate for Emergency Management.
Training programmes delivered include:
- Pyrotechnician
- Blaster / shotfirer
- UXO delaboration programmes
- English language
- Tourist guide
Training has been conducted under the Agreement on the Implementation of Programmes for Acquiring Professional Qualifications with the Employment Agency of Montenegro since 2015.

International Cooperation
International EOD Training in Cooperation with MAT Kosovo
Poliex cooperates with MAT Kosovo / Praedium Consulting Malta, one of the leading international organisations in the field of EOD and IEDD training.
The programmes are delivered in accordance with IMAS standards and include:
- IMAS EOD Level 1/2
- IMAS Conversion Course
- IMAS EOD Level 3 Technical Course
- Maritime Course
Poliex’s facilities enable training with live detonations, equipment testing and practical exercises involving a wide range of UXO, including aerial bombs of up to 250 kg.
Poliex also supports R&D, T&E and PSSM programmes, with the capability to demonstrate prototype equipment and delaboration techniques.

Test Range
The Poliex test range provides unique capabilities for testing new products, destroying hazardous unexploded ordnance during demilitarisation and supporting EOD course requirements. The range is equipped with visual devices and sensors for measuring the required explosion parameters.

Poliex engages experienced professionals from key technical and safety-related fields.
Training is delivered by lecturers with many years of experience in the explosives industry, mining, chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and EOD procedures.
Explosives Technology
Instructors with practical experience in the production, storage and use of explosive materials in the civil and military industries.
Chemical Technology
Lecturers in the fields of chemistry and chemical technology, focused on energetic materials, reactive mixtures and laboratory procedures.
Mining
Experts in surface and underground blasting, blast pattern design and blasting optimisation in the mining industry.
Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
Instructors for work with electric detonators, detonation networks and technical systems, applying modern mechanical engineering solutions.
Occupational Safety
Specialists in industrial safety, risk assessment and procedures for working with explosive materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
EOD-Certified Instructors
EOD-qualified lecturers with experience in international missions and IMAS training, including UXO delaboration and disposal.
Certificates of Competence
Upon completion of the training programme and successful completion of the required tests, participants are issued an official certificate confirming that they have successfully completed the training, in accordance with the licence issued by the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.
The certificate confirms the acquired competencies and authorisations for work in specific technical and safety-related fields.
Training Centre Infrastructure
The Poliex Training Centre has been designed to enable uninterrupted delivery of theoretical and practical training, with dedicated rooms for lecturers and participants.
Special attention has been given to the organisation of the space in order to provide optimal working conditions, safety and continuity of training in all weather and operational conditions.
